WELCOME
from our UK Executive Director
Together, we can make history for animals. Let's bring about a world where animals are truly respected and protected.
Animal Equality was founded in 2006 with one mission: to protect animals.
Since then, Animal Equality has grown to be one of the most effective advocacy organisations for farmed animals in the world. Working across four continents, we focus our activities in countries where there is the most opportunity to create lasting, systemic change for animals. We work with society, governments and companies so that we can achieve our vision: a world in which all animals are protected and respected.
Here in the Britain, Animal Equality UK is made up of small team of dedicated and passionate staff supported by network of volunteers, donors, and activists to bring about meaningful change and seek to end systemic suffering of animals at human hands.
Being a small team, each staff member has an absolutely vital role to play. Every individual is critical to the success of our mission, and each must bring their very best to the role in order for us to meet the David & Goliath challenge we face every day when squaring up the factory farming industry.
Following some essential members of the team – people who have been so critical to our successes in recent years –moving up internally or moving across to new roles in the movement, including in different countries; there is now an incredible opportunity for passionate, smart, resilient, dependable and dynamic individuals to join our team and help write the next chapter in Animal Equality UK’s story.
This dedicated careers website is intended to provide those who may be interested in joining us for the next stage of your professional journey with some insight into not only the nature of the roles themselves, but also what it’s like to be part of our small but highly effective team. And, hopefully, encourage you to put yourself forward for consideration.
So please, read on: take a look around, and please do get in touch if you have any questions or would like to register your interest in any of the three open positions at Animal Equality UK.
Thank you for your interest.
